Birmingham City University first year fashion and beauty journalist students got the opportunity to report on a charity fashion show.
The event took place on Sunday the 29th of September at the Macdonald Burlington Hotel in the centre of Birmingham.
The students were instructed to tweet live during the event using the events hashtag, this meant that some student’s tweets got seen and acknowledged by the designers taking part in the show.
The event was hosted for the charity Mind, to raise money and awareness of the work they do in the city.
A host of celebrity faces also took part by modelling in the event, these celebrities included Big Brother’s Isaac Jagroop and Sian Hamshaw, soapstar Ellis Hollins from Hollyoaks and X Factor’s Chloe Jasmine.
Designers displaying their collections included “Kiss Me Kate”, “Jay Mantra”, “Donna Marina” and “My Sherwani”.
